Little Buckaroos
Little Buckaroos is a package of four lessons geared towards kids ages 7 and under who want to learn about horses and get that "first time" riding experience. They will learn about horses and horse safety during half-hour rides.
Here are the details:
Families who enjoy Little Buckaroos whose children are 5 and under are also encouraged to look at Tiny Trailblazers, a companion group program full of Old MacDonald-style fun! As of January 1, 2020, all Buckaroo riders must be members of TRAK and have updated their information, and agreed to all policies and procedures.
Here are the details:
- Little Buckaroos is held on Saturdays and Sundays 8:00am - 10:00 am. Class times are very half an hour.
- Classes fill up quickly. This is a pay as you go program and lessons are ONLY scheduled in bundles of four. The same weekly time slot is NOT guaranteed!
- ALL lessons are scheduled with Megan in the office who can be reached M-F 8am-2pm or at office@traktucson.org.
- Each participant must complete a TRAK registration form and waiver prior to their first lesson.
- Parents may opt for a one-time evaluation in order to determine readiness for the program.
- Proper riding attire (jeans) strongly recommended; closed toe shoes or boots are required. Payment must be in advance.
- Cancellation policy requires 24-hours notice to reschedule, otherwise payment for that lesson ($25) is forfeited.

Last minute cancellations or no-shows will forfeit payment for that lesson.
