Membership and medical information
It is important that we have a current email address on file so we can communicate with each family. Please provide the best email that you check on a regular basis. If there are any changes to medical information that we need to be aware of, such as allergies to foods or medications, or any new behavioral information that will help us work with your child, please make sure you share it with us. If your child has an IEP, we welcome receiving a copy.
Scholarships and Outside Funding
TRAK strives to assist all interested youth to access its programs. Prior to making a scholarship request, we ask that families exhaust all other options for funding and fundraising. For example, families who choose home education may qualify for Empowerment Scholarships (ESA Funds). Beginning in January 2020, TRAK will be able to accept those funds. Individuals with special needs may receive governmental benefits through SSI that can help defray program costs. TRAK does not accept health insurance, but can provide a receipt for services to submit to private insurance. It has always been our policy to allow families or individuals to earn riding lessons through volunteering. For every 40 hours of service, a free lesson or trail ride is credited to your account. Please see our Equine Manual for additional information.
